Verification — every IP individually
The 6 announced /24 blocks (141.212.120–125) all sit within the university’s own /16 (ARIN allocation from 1990). After the Alpha Strike lesson we didn’t trust the list but checked each IP’s origin ASN individually:
1,524 / 1,524 host IPs → all AS36375 (0 foreign IPs, complete)
700 of them additionally self-identify via reverse DNS to umich.edu.
